a new decade
2010. Twenty Ten. F-ing weird, right?
Back to school on Tuesday. I hope I am ready for this. My last day at starbucks was Dec 6th. Time to be a student again, and only a student.
Went to Texas with Ben and Daisy, we had a very nice time. I missed Nash a ton. He stayed with mom and dad and had a grand time from what I understand.
Things are changing. I want to focus on some new years resolutions. Gotta start working out again. Things are getting ridiculous and I feel horrible about how I look right now. Blech. Nothing major I know, but I feel gross. Working out will make me feel so much better.
Ben and I were late with our rent - we had to drive it all the way out to Lancaster today. Pain in the ass. We listened to Loveline which was fun though. Dr. Drew makes everything better.
I got sick in Texas and am still coughing up shit and sneezing. it sucks. I feel tired and icky. Do I have West Nile?!? Hmmm...
Daisy is asleep on the couch between Ben and I. He's working on his resume. Job applications...scary and exciting.
We talked about the future while in Texas. It seems to be the place that we do that. Good things. I have to be patient...which I am not always good at. As he said "Do you want things done quick, or do you want them done right." I want them done right...and so I wait. Melissa and Caleb are probably getting engaged in May. I am jealous... But I want things done right. So I wait. And try to be patient. At least the day dreaming is good.
