Another conversation with the Heir

Jun 05, 2009 18:20

In the car this afternoon I asked him what he was making Daddy for Father's Day.  I told him no matter what it was, Daddy would love it.  The following conversation ensued:

Him: Why?
Me: Because Daddy loves you.
Him: Why?
Me: Because you're part Daddy and part me.
Him: How?
Me: God took some of Daddy and some of me and put them together to make you, then cooked you in my tummy.
Him: But you can't cook a baby in your tummy!
Me: You're right, but you grew in my tummy.
Him: I don't like being in your tummy because when you fart it goes through your pants and in your shirt and into my nose!
Me: Oh really?  Well, I don't think you remember that anyway.
Him: Yes I do!
Me: Oh.  And was it bad?
Him: Yeah, it was really bad.
