THIS IS BORING. seriously.
*I am going to try to post a real entry since I basically never ever do that. And I don't feel like working on my EDCI 270 project, which is due in an hour and I haven't started anyway. Why try now?? It's only for peer review today, anyway; the final project is due next Wednesday, so I should have it done by then.
*I just got back from my bio lab. This semester we had to design experiments testing peroxidase activity levels in different plants or parts of plants. My lab parter and I studied ginger root vs. ginger stem and today we presented our findings and turned in our papers. I don't think mine was very good, but we got a perfect score on our oral presentation. And apparently everyone is doing really bad on the papers and no one has an A in the class, so there may end up being a little curve. Hooray!
*The lady from Crestview Apartments called me yesterday and said they have one available for next year fitting our preferences. She is going to type up the lease and then we can go sign it. I am sooo excited!! We're gonna be on the top floor which is cool. And we'll have a balcony. I don't know why I find that so exciting. Mandy's turning 21 in September and then Lorraine's birthday is Halloween, so it should be a fun fall! Too bad it's almost a year away and I still have to get through the rest of this semester AND next. ick.
*Today when I was leaving Lilly, two people carrying a bunch of food and coolers were coming in the doors, so I held the door for them. The woman said "Thank you so much," and then I felt like a Helper. Hooray second grade!!
*I have to work tonight. I am tired, so it won't be very fun. Actually, it will still probably be okay. I like work because I can't work on homework so I don't feel guilty for not being productive. Plus, I work with the coolest people, so bascially I get paid to have a social hour and not feel guilty about it. I am subbing for someone tonight, though. I'm not sure who works Wednesday nights, so it should be interesting.
*I am tired and overwhlemed. I have a lot to do in the next few days, but I'm working a ton because I am also completely broke and then some (thank you, credit card). I think I'm going to stay up tonight after work anyway and NOT write my paper that's due tomorrow but watch scary movies with the girls. That class isn't until 1:30 tomorrow...I can do it in the morning!
