(no subject)
I feel like I should make a first real entry. You know, that thing that I haven't done probably in...months. Anyway, I guess I'll just talk about tonight, or something. I don't know how to write real entries.
Today was Ramsey's birthday (he's finally 18! ha!) so I went over to his house for dinner and ate some food I didn't like very much even though I didn't feel like eating and still managed to insult Ramsey's mother by not finishing everything that was on my plate. Sorry, lady, that I wasn't hungry, and the food just wasn't my fave.
We helped clean up and then I went with Ramsey over to north for the HYP concert, where he wandered off somewhere and I got to talk to lots of people I don't see very often. Like...Sejin, Leslie, Roxie, etc etc, and even though I will see them all on Saturday at prom, it was nice. And I got to talk to Mrs. Enzinger for a while before the concert, too, which was nice.
Then Miss G started closing the doors to the orchestra room and stuff and I figured I should get out of there before the yelling began, so I escaped through the band room and talked to some freshman who was also escaping with a bass. He forgot to being his own, so he was pretty much in big trouble. I have no idea who he was, but we bonded, fo sho. haha
Anyhoo, I went into the auditorium and Rmsey's family wasn't there yet, so I went and talked to April for a long time and then Diana Portzline came and talked to us, too. After a bit Hattie's parents and her grandma came and sat behind us and Susie (Hattie's mom) was like, "Hiiii Emily!" and I was like, meeh. And then they were telling Hattie's grandma how great it is that I go to Purdue since then she will have a friend there, already. And I was like, whatever.
When it was about to start I went and sat with Laila (Ramsey's mom) and she was like, meh, I hate you. And I was like, I know. (except that is only said inside our heads). Ramsey's speech went well, I thought, at least people were paying attention and all. haha. I'd already read it before, so I was mostly watching other people, which is always fun. And then he and Leslie both got the national orchestra award, which was waaay cool because Leslie is my FAVE (besides Roxanne, haha...yeah).
After the concert I chilled in the orch room with peoples and Ramsey had tear down, so I stole his tux jacket cause I was cold. It was longer than my skirt, so it looked kiiind of funny.
I didn't talk to Hattie at all, since I am avoiding talking to her completely right now because of the whole "going behind a friend's back and trying to steal her boyfriend while lying and acting completely normal to said friend" stunt that she recently played, but when she was leaving she walked past me and poked me and said, "Hot stuff, Emily." I don't know what that meant, but I just smiled and waved and kept talking to whoever I was talking to. I might talk to her online tomorrow or something if I get the chance, see what the hell is going on between us. Sigh. It does suck, as we have been friends for years and all. I think I am just waiting for an apology or something, something that hasn't happened yet. Ramsey told me that was afraid to see me tonight because I might "bitch-slap" her, but I am pretty much too nice for that. I even waved and smiled at her and Megan while escaping by the practice rooms to get to the band room.
So, then I helped teardown after the concert, then hung out with Ramsey outside for a while in the parking lot. We were the very last people there! We saw Mrs E and Miss G leave and they said night and all. And yeah, so then some other stufff...and eventually I got home and now here I am. Tada, a real post! Go me!
