ZZZZzzzz
Yesterday the CFO of our company had a BBQ at his house in Issaquah and invited a bunch of people over to watch the All Star game. It was a lot of fun. Much beer was imbibed, and as the eveing turned into night Steve & I realized that it was 10:41 and the last boat to Kingston was the 11:45 and if we didn't leave immediately we'd be screwed.
At that point John (said CFO) said, "Why don't you two crash here? You have a change of clothes at work right?" (We do indeed keep a spare set of work clothes for each of us at work, and have ever since he himself suggested it to us 2 years ago.) We said "Sure, we'll stay!" It was a blast. We stayed up and talked to John & his wife for a LONG time, then at 2:30 they suggested we walk down to the lake by their house. We did & it was cool and we didn't end up going to bed until 3:30 this morning. I didn't fall asleep until about 3:50. I woke up at 5:49.
I have gone through the entire day on 2 hours sleep.
I'm fucking tired, but I like it.
