help me help her, pls
ok aside from being a lousy lj friend, ive actually got a request, i know i know how dare i request for something when i've been so lousy. BUT! the request is on behalf of a friend...so here goes:
are you living in perth? do you know anyone...nice in perth?? i have a friend there who's alone. & she's singaporean (asian) & when she was first there, some locals made fun of the way she spoke & stuff so she withdrew into herself & became very prickly/sensitive around people. she's studying @ UWA majoring in econs. this is her first time away from home & she hasn't been home for more than a year. she doesn't have any friends & does seem to be showing the signs of depression, including telling me that her future is very bleak etc. she's usually a very very bubbly person. the sort who (god knows how she does it) seems to wake up in the mornings....cheerful. im very worried cos she doesnt have Any support system there. she participates in competitive kendo, but tentatively that's on hold cos of studies (i think). please let me know if you can help me out by introducing people that can help her through this.
