Some update on Jasper's situation: Mom talked to the vet, there may be some kind of drug that could put him into remission, essentially "cure" him. The current plan is to pick up this medicine on Monday, drop it and the cat off at the vet, and they'll dose and check him for a day or two. And we go from there.
If it doesn't work, he'll need injections twice a day, at the exact same time every day, which means he'd have to be an inside cat. Which would also mean that Tux would be an indoor cat again. We'd go from two inside, two outside, to four inside. I'm a little frightened by that idea. Jasper would be miserable, not being allowed outside. Oy.

In other news, I feel sick (nauseas) and exhausted, but can't bring myself to call Joanne and ask her to cover the last hour or so. The idea of movement, cleaning up, makes me feel worse. I hate being a wuss when it comes to my boss. It's not like she bites. What's wrong with me?
