Spiderman 3

Ok I went to see it and yes, some parts were entirely LAME- like making Toby Mcquire out to be some sex god after going 'bad' - let me tell you directors, writers, wardrobe- it just makes him look geek extraordinaire. It was almost too embaressing to watch IMO.

But, despite that moment, I thought the show overall was ok- it tried to move the story along, much like the comic book, I imagine- (I've never read it)

It was more like a soap opera than a movie unto itself and one shouldn't judge it as a stand alone movie- it is a continuation of the lives of the characters IMO and so should be seen as such.

Toby Mcguire's best at acting vunerable, that is when you care about the character the most. When he is allowed to show his weakness'. Making him out to be something he isn't, was a mistake by the writers IMO. They could and SHOULD have deleted the scenes when he was trying to be 'sexy' - He played the evil part fairly well but in no way could he carry off 'sexy' so why embarras him so?

Over all out 5 I'd give the movie a 2 and 1/2. It wasn't great as 1 and 2 but it did well to move the story along.
