i thought i would post to say...
thank you lauren and julie for coming to visit me. today was my first day of training at smoothie king. woo woo. and it went quite well. i have to say that making smoothies is just as easy as you would expect, especially when people only come in every few minutes.
the only not cool thing is that the aquiring of free smoothies is not as easy as i thought it would be. my friend sarah from my club volleyball team last year worked at the smoothie king on bienville, and i would give her rides in return for free smoothies after practice (she could just go in and get free ones). but my smoothie king is owned by someone else, and we are just allowed to have one free small smoothie for ourself for each shift we work. :o( and then we get a 25% discount on stuff in the store. sorry kids. but you can still come *buy* smoothies from me anyway.
i do have a plan, though... you know those punch cards, like buy 10 get one free. well, when you get a stamp it is from the clocker inner thing, so it says date and time, so you can't just fill up a whole one all at once (that would be really obvious). so i have a couple that i can stamp once each time i work... after i work ten days i will have a free smoothie card i can give you. woo. but you aren't allowed to use it at my smoothie king...you have to go elsewhere...it would be weird if my friends always came in with fully stamped cards.
anyway, julie and lauren...thank you for visiting me. :o) see you kids at school tomorrow.
