man... in the last couple of days, i have heard radiohead, the breeders, less than jake, diesel boy, the impossibles, and the strokes. the impossibles totally caught me off guard, and i was very pleased.
quiz bowl was okay... brie straightened everyone's hair friday, and i could not stop staring at my hair and playing with it all yesterday and friday. she's going to do mine again after we do our research citation so i can surprise everyone at school. it was so cool! hehe, but roula told me she missed my curly hair. the tournament was fun, too... sort of exhilarating. and it was probably my best ever...answered a lot more stuff than normal. haha, but i love how i ALWAYS miss the math questions. ["roula, they're ALL six!!"]. we played this one team from houma called vandebilt (no r), who were really cool. and this guy named tanner freeman on their team was SO HOT. we talked to their team inbetween matches, and their captain, ryan, wanted roula's number, so they sent the two girls on the team out to talk to us. we told them we thought tanner was cute (we didn't actually know his name at that point - he was "blue shirt guy"), and they laughed and said he was the most "chaste" person ever. roula gave them her email address for ryan, and i wrote on the same page "TO TANNER: scottishfreedomfighter@hotmail.com" i told them i wanted to make him blush, so they left with the message for him that i wanted to put whipped cream all over his naked body. they said he would probably faint and then say a rosary, hehehe. yeah, so he got the message, but didn't seem too scared of me. when we left i yelled, "BYE TANNER!" and he said, "later!" all cute and excited.
also, we shared a bus and ate meals and everything with the rummel team. i decided by choice from them was this little freshman named jimmy. he pinky swore that he would be my boyfriend, and i sang him beautiful songs such as "you've lost that lovin feeling" and "don't speak." so i'm changing things around...

now let me explain man or astroman... it was the best show! i can't believe certain people wanted to leave. i thought they were so good and so funny. they turned a dot matrix printout into an orgasm! and i love their music... i have always wanted to hear them live. i HAVE to have a cd now, but there are like 10 to choose from. ahhh! they came out after the show, and i got them all to sign my shirt. when the bass player came out, i didn't want him to get away... i put my hand on his face something like that picture ju has of me with the statue at nottoway and told him that they put on an amazing show. teh drummer (who i officially want to fuck, see boyfriend number 11) told me that they should be coming back in april. i cannot wait. oh yes, and, lauren, they had the most beautiful instruments. i told the guitarist that, and he said, "we break them quickly." anyway...they had WHITE amps that were so cute and classic looking w/ "Fender" in gold in the corner. their guitars were natural wood and almost oversized looking. reminded me of those huge surfboards you see the fat hawaiian guy surfing a two-foot wave on. yeah. good show.
