In Case Anyone Cares...
First day o' school was actually pretty nice. I found my long-lost love Katie during Intro, and Katie reminds me of my currently lost love Katie 'Angry Elf' Duttine...but shorter. Teehee. So, we attacked the English room with major amounts of food during lunch and then wandered around til we found the right door to go to the Portables so I could turn in some AP Lang stuff to Mr. Lemon.
Spanish started off terribly. First, I was almost late because I--seriously--had to wait five minutes to go to the bathroom. There were THREE (count it, three) stalls. What the crap? Once I got in there--Spanish, not the bathroom stall--, I sat in the wrong seat. I didn't know she had a system! Someone moved my bookbag and I was all flustered. So, she thought my name was Brenda or Beatrice or something equally horrendous. After that, I had to complain because I got two of one sheet instead of one of each. Bah. Anyway, Spanish was, well, in Spanish. All of it. ALL of it. You had to guess what the crap-po she was saying, but if you got it, you got a "Bien, bien" and then you were lost again. Oh, wait, I forgot, Gibson did speak English while we went over congates or congigates, whatever, and while she did a bit from the handbook. (Last Thought: Cognates. That was it.)
Mrs. Smith for Intro was like Mrs. Collier only skinnier. It was insane. She was so loud--yet enjoyable. Thankfully she'll help with the portfolio I don't have.
During Intro, I had a fab time talking to Patrice, who has the hottest name EVAH. Patrice and I felt left out because we were the only juniors in the class. But we rawked it.
A/C was not working in Mrs. Sutherland's or Mr. Cobb's class, which were the first two I went to. It was terrible. It wasn't working in the gym either, where we had an hour-long assembly to listen to some guys tell us about drugs by rapping about it in a roundabout way. They went way over. Not only that, but there was NOT enough room. On the bleachers, everyone was literally on top of each other, and then there were four rows of people on the ground, and two rows going along the side walls. They need more bleachers. END OF STORY.
It rained, of course, the moment I stepped outside and I had to rush to the car and then sit in the queue for five minutes so I could finally go home. I was shocked it was so nicely organized. They had police officers and everything directing traffic. Suhweet.
Anyway, that's my line-up of today. Aren't you all glad I finally updated?
