I am a stupid, clumsy person. This week's proof of my extreme clumsy? Cost me $90 ~_~ Thank God I had a full week of work this week to cover my tremendous stupidity. Le sigh.

I know nobody cares, but since all I seem to do lately is watch TV I might as well write about it, yes? No spoilers for future episodes, just episodes that have already aired.

Cold Case: I don't even DVR this anymore, I just catch up with it online when I feel like it. I haaaaaaaaate Lily and was hoping that Evil!Baldwin!Brother would succeed in his attempt to off her. I really like the supporting cast, but I have no idea how this show has lived as long as it has. My guess is that this season is it's swan song. I think the others should put in for a spin-off.

NCIS: So far, season 7 has been my absolute favorite. Anyone who has never watched NCIS has no idea what they're missing. I could watch Aliyah, Truth or Consequences and Reunion over and over and be a happy girl. Truth or Consequences is quite possibly my favorite episode ever. So, in summary: *thumbs up thus far*

NCIS: LA: Okay, so, I just call it "LA" since it feels more like a spy show than anything even remotely NCIS-related, but it has turned out to be quite entertaining for reasons other than it's stellar crime-fighting story lines. I am oh so very fond of the tremendously slashy relationship between Callen & Hanna. Not only are there blatantly slashy conversations in every.single.episode, but Callen's molestation of lollipops while they're on stakeout and Hanna's need to keep his hands busy to avoid looking at him made me giggle pretty hard. Obviously the same gay man is writing for both versions of the show and he's giving Callen/Hanna their finest Tony/McGee treatment. I, of course, approve heartily. If it weren't for the Callen/Hanna stuff, I probably wouldn't watch it, but I'm quite fond of teh slash, so count me in.

Criminal Minds: Again, I won't spoil anything beyond Outfoxed, I swear. I could say so many things to start this but I have to start with an open letter to David Rossi.
Dear David,
Please to be going to your high-priced hairstylist (because I know you're a big spendah) and tell him that he forgot to also cut your hairs when he gave you that sexy dye-job. You really shouldn't ever flounce when you walk, dude. So go see him and get those ends trimmed...and take Spencer with you. That part is not a request - that's an order, Marine.
Much love for you in your dead-sexy jeans,
~H~
And yes, I realize it's weird to think someone old enough to be my father is sexy. Don't judge me.

Outfoxed was extremely good. I haated Arnold the first time he was an unsub because he's creepy in a skeezy pedophile way, and he was even skeezier this time around. I thought the entire jail house story line was great because Prentiss was put in a learning situation and Hotch guided her through it perfectly. From the walk through the holding area to explaining to her why they were using the pictures as a bargaining chip - and giving her an out - it was fun to see him teaching her without being overtly-teacherish about it. It's interesting to see that side of Hotch and it's fun for me to watch Prentiss grow because I love her, but I don't think they give her enough depth. I still say her eye make-up was wonky. It was distracting as hell!

I didn't spoil it for B, but I totally figured out The Reaper plot-swerve about halfway through, so I wasn't surprised with the way it ended (minus the "no closing quote" thing ;_;). I was all flaily over the previews though. I figured that 100 was going to be a big show based around The Reaper, but there were things in that promo that made me gasp. I'm guessing it'll be a "bring a tissue" kind of episode. God.

We're "christening" the new house with our first holiday meal and I could not be more excited. I've tweaked the menu and told everyone that despite the fact that I got fancy linens and nice serving dishes (hooray for working at a thrift store!), the dress code is "uber casual". I intend to spend the day cooking in my pajamas and my sister is on her midnight shift so she won't feel like getting fancied up, so anyone wearing something dressy will be given a change of clothes upon entering Chez Patton. Mollie is going to be at the Macy's Parade, so I've already got the DVR set in hopes that she manages to make tv because she has ridiculously good luck with things like that. She was on national tv three times AND made it on YES broadcast of a Yanks game in the one month she was interning in New York this summer. She's flying to NYC Wednesday morning. Traveling the day before Thanksgiving? Srsly? I offered to buy her a book for the time she'll be hanging around waiting but she said she'd rather annoy me via text. She's quite precious, that one ~_~

Oh look, another boring update that took me far too long to write. At least we know that some things will never change :-)
