Yesterday started out as another normal boring day, but ended oddly pleasant. Around 9 I called K to chat cause I was bored and she said she would drive up here and we could hang out a bit.
The 2 diet cokes kept me up until 4:30 in the morning. Well, the diet cokes and good conversation. It’s been so long since I’ve stayed up way too long getting to know someone. So long since I’ve felt…..interesting enough to keep someone’s attention for more than a few minutes.
I have a friend who said once that he doesn’t want to get close to anyone he meets online, cause it’s too much, and not enough. I think about that a lot when I meet an actual interesting person among all the idiots and selfish people online. I think about it whenever I meet anyone who keeps my interest. Even though I get caught up in worries of when I’m going to be left, I still know that when it’s worth it, I don’t run. Guess that’s why I’m always being left. It’s ok, one day it’ll work.
