Writer's Block: Your Username
Years and years ago, my friends and I decided very late one night that we were craving cake. So we made a cake, and thought that the vanilla frosting would look too boring, but we didn't have sprinkles or anything to put on it, and decided to dye the frosting. Two of the friends got into a good-natured fight with the food dye because one wanted pink and the other wanted blue, so it turned purple. It still looked boring to us, so we started to write "OUR PURPLE CAKE" on it in green dec-a-cake, but the dec-a-cake ran out right before the last "E", leaving us with "OUR PURPLE CAK". Needless to say, the lack of sleep and sugar rush from eating the remainder of the tub of frosting made us think that was absolutely hilarious, and I made a screen name out of it. About a decade later, I still use purplecak as my username.
