and i loved deeper and i spoke sweeter...

So, I was listening to that Nelly song w/tim mcgraw because I was kind of curious.  I came to like it and I realllllly liked Tim McGraw's voice.  It's just got so much personality to it.  So I told Meghan this and she played me a bunch more Tim McGraw... especially videos.  DEAR LORD, I have never seen a man look so sexy in a cowboy hat.  Without it he is sort of average... with it... oh dear lord.... and those arms... *drool*.  I mean, I don't think I'd ever get along with him... but he's got a gorgeous voice and body.  So now i'm listening to country.  I almost bought his CD today.  Buggs was there to talk me out of it as Schmegs was there to talk me into it.  It was funny.  But instead I'm downloading it... which I feel kinda bad about.  I think I'll make a trip to walmart with schmegs and get it anyway.  We were talking about country music and how I like some of it and dislike a lot of the rest of it.  But either way, I've got a lot of respect for country artists.  Just look at the difference between American Idol and Country Idol... the shows (sad that I know all this, but again most of this is thanks to schmegs).  On American Idol they belt out other peoples songs, basically all they do is stand there and sing.  No instruments, no writing, just singing.  Meanwhile on the country idol show they have to write their own music, play their own instruments, write their own lyrics and sing.  It's actually performance.  Country stars just seem a lot more respectable.  Like Tim McGraw, writes all his own music plays his own instruments and sings his own songs.  I mean, most rock and other things are like that as well.  But it seems like the trend seems to go against instruments and talent to just being able to belt out a note.

Anyway, what I really wanted to talk about was this weekend.  I have had such a great time.  I hung out and chatted in Denny for quite a while, I hung out at the Maggidis' for five hours and had a great time, Went out to the bars, then tonight I went to dinner at Panera and attended a fabulous food filled oscar party.  Really it's been a great weekend.  Thank you Kristy for getting everyone out for your birthday.  I hope it was as fabulous for you as it was for me :)  But yes, I've been hanging out with the denny crew a lot and it's been a lot of fun.  Even better than sitting at home and playing warcrack... speaking of that... I have missed it a bit... well Dima wants to play... but anyway.. my point was it's been a great weekend.  Thanks to everyone involved.
