[Background] Chowder is an apprentice chef under the guidance of Mung Daal. He lives on the top floor of the building of Mung Daal and Truffles' catering business together with his pet... something, named Kimchi (who communicates with Chowder through farts).
His only real goal in life is to become a great chef, just like Mung Daal. And to not become Panini's boyfriend probably.
Chowder is also said to be a hybrid of a cat, rabbit and bear. And he's purple.
[Personality]
Chowder is very impulsive. He will eat anything he sees, sometimes even eating non-edible things, when he's really hungry. This gets worse when new food is introduced to him because he will do everything in his power to get a bite of it. It's also this flaw that gets in in constant trouble with Mung Daal and Shnitzel.
Chowder also has a one-track mind and usually takes tasks that are given to him a little too seriously. Unless something else distracts him and he forgets what he is supposed to do, instead becoming devoted to whatever it was that distracted him.
He is not the brightest kid on the block. He's not really all the bright to begin with. He's mistaken Mung for a table once just because he was told so. He is also pretty impatient, especially when it comes to cooking. You would often hear the words "Is it done yet?", "How about now?", and "Can I eat it now?" from him. Because of this impatience, he messes up the recipes constantly.
Chowder is not above blackmailing if it's guaranteed to get him what he wants.
[Specialties/Abilities]

Also his stomach can talk. His name is Mr. Tummy.
And he can upchuck things he's eaten in the past. His stomach is like a storage device of sorts.
[Affection]
He's not Panini's boyfriend.
[Fighting]
You dare hurt the cute, fat bear-cat-rabbit thing?
[Other Facts]
He can only count up to 42.
