September 7th has been marked on my calendar for the
longest time. Cleveland was coming to Kansas City and
I just couldn't go one more season without seeing them
when they came to KC. I love my Royals but since I
have never seen Cleveland and Grady Sizemore took up
about 80 percent of my pictures. These are just a few
of my favorites. Enjoy!
- My sisters favorite Royal was just feet away
and she froze up and didn't want to ask him for
an autograph so I yelled 'Oh LEO! Sign my hat please.'
- His pretty signature. He was too cute.
- Alex Gordon was signing autographs but the line
was SO long and they autograph session was about to
end so I just snuck up and too a picture of him
anyhow. Cuz he's got the coolest swing.
- Let's just say I was a tad excited when I
found out my favorite pitcher (Zach Greinke) was
also going to be pitching that day. I took a bunch
of him but this was my favorite by far.
- My very first Grady shot! He was literally 30 feet
away. I have no idea how I remained calm enough to
take so many pictures.
- Franklin Gutiérrez warming up. Oh, he is so nice
to look at. Even more in person than on TV.
- More Franklin. We couldn't help heckling
yelling stuff at him at the end of the game. We were
down to our last 3 outs so we started yelling 'Oh hey
Franklin!' at him. He kept looking at us like we were
crazy. But we told him he was our second favorite
Indian. I think he loved it.
- Grady just telling it like it is.
- Fixing that belt. He loves to adjust that thing.
- LOL. I couldn't help myself.
- Asdrubal! Pearls! Beyond adorable. I just
wanted to give him a hug.
- I really love this shot.
- That smile. Oh my. My favorite shot of
the entire day.
- My favorite pitcher to my favorite center
fielder. And Zach won the showdown. Grady
went a dismal 0 for 5.
- Mike Avilas, another favorite Royal.
- Grady at bat. Striking out never looked so good.
- David DeJesus. I love this shot for some
reason. All the green is so pretty.
- Pretty, pretty! He was adorable to watch, how
he would get set before the pitch and turn around
and look out the giant video board between batters.
- And since we were losing we didn't get to
see The Mexicutioner. Maybe next time.
THE END!
