I can has also failed at the cat macros.
I am now officially closer to 30 than I am to 20. Talk about terrifying! And I still go to give my age as 19. At least this birthday I am employed and a Helpful Member of Society, and between that and the Op Shop have to actually check my diary before I schedule anything unusual in. This is Helpful in my birthday not being a day to deny and pretend isn't happening and hide under the doona (see: duvet) all day long. Instead, I've spent a lot of time chatting and reading amusing posts on doctorwho and going through the pit'o'voles looking for decent Jo/Laurie fanfiction.
And now my little Duggan and Romana and Martha and Ten dolls are snuggled around a very pretty jewelry holder with my elephants.
Yes, I collect elephants. Consider this the reveal of the day.
Overall, good day. We're going out for dinner, booked in for 6.30pm and hopefully we'll be back in time for my father's football game (GO PIES)

And today I discovered that I share a birthday with Charles Firth, founder of The Chaser and Manic Times, the one who loves being able to edit his own Wikipedia entry. Clearly, this is Made Of Win.
