Two sleeps until Potterdammerung. I have 22 rows (880 stitches) to go on my movie!colours Ravenclaw scarf, and I've knitted myself a nice little hat to go with it. Still avoiding spoilers.
I am crazy-batshit-tinhat over three characters that I can think of off-hand, and one ship. To me, that's pretty damn good as far as my fandoms go, given that these fandoms are Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Harry Potter.
My characters I'm batshit-insane-irrational-tinhat over are Romana, Buffy Summers and Remus Lupin. Do not give me details that contradict my own personal fannon for these characters or I will be left screaming incoherently at my computer screen. I cannot back up my fanon for these characters in rational speak, as I simply cannot, will not, look at any other point of view. I refuse to believe anything other than how I feel about them, and I can't understand people who have a different opinion because clearly they are wrong and insane.
My one batshit-tinhat ship, surprisingly, isn't Buffy/Angel. It was once. I now count myself as a recovering Buffy/Angel 'shipper who occasionally falls off the wagon.
My one batshit-irrational-tinhat ship is Remus/Sirius. So in my unspoiled state, let me say this to Ms Rowling: if you dare end this book with Tonks and Remus having a litter of their own, I will throw things. Seriously. I may hold to the idea that Tonks looks like Sirius in bed, but dammit. I'd prefer you to do harm to my beloved Remus than to give him a happy ending.1
In fact, Ms Rowling, there is really only one character that I will be very, very, very displeased with you should you kill. Neville Longbottom is strictly off-limits. Do not harm one hair on his head. Please. He might not be my batshit-insane-tinhat character, but I want him to have a happy ending more than all the other characters combined.
Now I'm going to go back to my knitting. May post pictures to lust_for_yarn tomorrow with the finished, washed, blocked item.

1 I like to be bloodthirsty. I'm all "Romana lives!" but I always believed that BtVS should have ended with Buffy dying. Not just with The Gift, but once the series continued I always believed she should die at the end. But that was before the Potentials and season 7 being, well, teh suck from start to finish
