My head hurts
We're on stage 4 water restriction here, not because of the lack of water but because the fires have caused our water supply to look like it needs Oompa Loompas to tend to it (Augustus Gloop would love it).
Going onto stage 4, however, hasn't had a massive effect on my family as we were using our shower water and washing machine water on the gardens anyway, and washing the car isn't something that happened terribly often when we had (the illusion of) water galore in this country.
But showering with buckets has had an interesting side-effect. The cat has decided that the soapy grey water tastes very nice, and you often hear him drinking it from the buckets if you don't empty them fast enough. He hasn't quite clicked that it doesn't agree with him, judging by the amount he's currently vomiting.
