*wibbles* I need a hug
Today is Wednesday. Or, as I like to call it, "the day there is an off-chance that there will be new comics in my newsagents that the rest of the world saw months ago".
I swore my next comic-related post would be something like "oh Joss Whedon" over him giving Kitty Pryde the line "my turn" on the final page of Astonishing X-Men #15. Nothing like recycling dialogue from one of your heroines to the chick who inspired all of them! (even if it is used in vastly different context, she's still off to kick butt) (and I still don't get the continuity of Astonishing within the X-Verse)
Instead I paid an astonishing $10.95 for one single-volume comic. Superman/Batman #26 finally arrived in-stores, and now I'm back at school with puffy eyes and a nose that shows definite signs of having been wiped too many times in too short a space of time.
Note to self: next time, don't go and Google "Sam Loeb" afterwards, either.
