Who's your best friend, and why? Best friends…
It would be really unfair of me not to include everyone. I don’t want to say that just one person from all my mini family is more loved. Because I love them all, differently, but just as much as each other. Beka is a sweetheart. She’s been the girl power factor since… well since forever, I think. She’s every ones rock, maybe even Dylan’s, but I’m sure he wouldn’t admit to that. Then there’s Dylan. Three hundred and three year old transatlantic hero of the centaury. Never gets mad with me even though I’ve done some pretty silly things on some pretty unauthorized flying lessons.
Tyr and Rev Bem are also part of my family. Although Tyr thinks I have something to hide… [Well maybe I do… but doesn’t everyone Tyr?] he chooses to help us ‘unaugmented’ beings [Hurray for language tapes huh?] even though his Neitchien upbringing told him we are inferior. Rev Bem is just, so hopeful. He believes in ‘Wayism’, and I can’t blame him. It seems so nice to have someone and something to believe in, even when at any moment a big Nova bomb could blow us to infinitely small atoms.
And last but not least there’s Harper. Hmmm. What can I say about Harper. He can be a little immature sometimes, well a little more than sometimes, but he has a big heart, and a very smart brain. I guess if I ever had a little brother I’d want him to be like Harper.
