Gahhhh!!!
Ok, so this week promised to be stressful for me, especially since I didn't get much accomplished over the weekend. But I was handling it pretty well... last night I got a lot of studying in, but it wasn't miserable because I got to hang with the boys and be silly. And today was long, but lab was canceled-- freeing up time to clean the bathroom and take nap. It is now 11:50 pm. I just got home after studying organic chemistry with Chelsea. I find that there is a message under my door from the RA who inspected my newly cleaned bathroom.
APPARENTLY, it did not pass inspection. I wiped down the sinks and the outside of the toilet. I took a Swiffer: Wet to the floor, and sprayed the shower down with "Sparkling Shower." I took out the trash and put in a new bag. And the whole place smelled fresh! Naturally, I was confused and outraged that I did not pass. The items listed as insufficiently clean are: Sink(s), Mirrors, and Trash.
As it happens, my lovely suitemates decided to make a mess of my bathroom between 3:30 and 8:00 pm. A second trashcan appeared and is now full of paper towels, hair (yes, hair!), and empty styling-product containers. I guess they cut their own hair in the bathroom, and left a mess AFTER I cleaned for the inspection. So, I guess that explains the Trash indication. But the sinks and mirrors are still in their original clean state! They aren't covered in the aforementioned styling-product, and they aren't cluttered either. As far as I can see, there is nothing wrong with either the mirrors or the sinks.
I'm so angry! RAs have to find multiple things wrong with the bathroom to issue the warning, but the trash was the only problem, so I think he made up the thing about the sink and the mirror. Regardless, it must pass an inspection at 8 pm tomorrow, or I will be assigned "manditory" community service. Yes, I'm judging you, HRL, and your bad spelling! Idiots.

PS- Since when is Wednesday "Boisterous Drinking Games Upstairs" night? *sigh*
