[Lili had only been home a few minutes. The storm was rough but the young woman had promised her coworkers that she would be fine on her trek home. In all honesty, she had never been in a storm so terrible. The harsh winds and bitter cold made the blonde stop in her tracks on a few occasions. So when her apartment building was in sight, she breathed a heavy sigh of relief that would have been visible had it not been for the heavy snowfall. She had never been so happy to reach her apartment, even though she was alone with Garcia being away. Soon, a cup of hot cocoa was made, but more importantly, Lili needed to get into warmer clothes. With a quick snap of her fingers, Ziege followed her into her room, and she began to change. A cotton sweatshirt was slipping over her head when the news report went out. The lights in the room began to flicker on and off for a moment before suddenly and abruptly shutting off. Lili's body went stiff. Not the dark. Anything but the dark. Especially with the storm and the supernatural noises it emitted. It was basically the young woman's biggest nightmare, coming true. She dashed towards her door, opening it, only to face an even darker and ominous void. SLAM went the door. She was now trembling in her room. "Not the dark. Not the dark, please. Oh Gott." she whispered. Tears began forming in her eyes as her knees buckled and she fell to the floor. Ziege, being her loyal companion, sat by her side, attempting to comfort. Her eyes were glued shut, not wanting to face the horrors of her imagination. The sounds of the storm were enough. Usually, Vash would be there to calm her down from her fear, but he was gone. Her faltering hands reached for her netbook, hoping that she could do something, The water in her eyes and the diminishing battery of the device made it an obstacle to do anything but post on the one window she had open...]
