I am alarmed.

So, I know that this is sort of long-ish, but I think it needs to be watched.

She's not wrong, but I don't feel like this is new. :-/ Sorry Farrah. I dont think you have anything to freak out yet. Yes, our freedom has been in jeopardy for quite a while...with free speech zones, the patriot act, and the president doing things without consulting anyone...but, let's hope that this time is over. I wouldn't start freaking out unless John McCain became president...and even if he was, this closed torture and mass arrest wouldn't exist. And really? What can we do? I've been listening for 15 minutes and I still dont hear a solution. I hear fear mongering! She's doing what she's complaining about. No matter what...this will end to some extent come election day no matter who is elected. Sarah Palin is an idiot, but John McCain (the person we're actually electing) was a prisoner of war and is really REALLY against that sort of stuff.

Don't fret...I agree with Carlos...she has a lot of good points, but she is an alarmist.

P.S: Bush is an idiot and shouldn't be president, but he's not a malicious man. I just don't think he understands how to run a country. He isn't smart enough to be Hitler and foul enough to be Stalin.

It's an old adage and it may be cliché, but a someone hardly needs to be malicious to do harm.

You're right. His ineptitude has done more harm than good, but I was just saying I don't think it was out of maliciousness like the woman was hinting at. She made it seem like he was purposefully doing this. I just don't think he knows what he's doing.

Wow Lauren, not to come off as condescending, but while I disagree with a few minor points, this more or less is a spot-on, level-headed assessment. I of course, must respectfully disagree with the notion that McCain could ever be cause for concern of becoming a fascist dictator.

I'm glad somebody else isn't drinking the alarmist Kool-Aid, though. It is rather ironic that she's trying to advocate "radical" action against the Government. I think there might even be a word for that. C.. er, is it... Cou.. Coup? Yes, that's the one. High five, Lauren.

Well, McCain would never become a fascist dictator and that's not what I meant. I'm just concerned with his judgment at the moment because I despise Sarah Palin. But anyway, back to the point...thank you for the high 5. This woman is definitely an alarmist and it's not like she was saying anything new. And radical action? What would that be exactly? Besides a coup? I would really like that NOT to happen. She didn't say. Whatever. She pisses me off lol. I like people who are reasonable.
