Ah, yes... Jewish holidays make me so happy. They just lend themselves to relaxation, mood improvement and productivity!
I think I'm getting closer to figuring out a college plan. No, I'm still not sure exactly which school I want to go to, but I think I've managed to eliminate UCF and FSU. (Sorry, guys - UCF just doesn't have a good psychology program. Is there even a grad school?) So now it looks like UF and UM... leaning more toward the Gators... 70% UF; 27% UM; 3% Other. (The numbers make it clearer for me.)
In addition to that, I've come up with a very cool idea. As you all know, College Academy students graduate with an AA degree - 2 years already completed. Bright futures covers 4 years but only up until a Bachelor's degree (No master's or doctorate's). So, I asked myself - "Self, why not take advantage of free schooling?" Theoretically, I could major in psychology and take the other 2 years to either A.) major in something different OR B.) take a whole bunch of classes that I've wanted to take since high school but have never had the time to do so... like french and photography and european history and sculpture and so on... and then get my master's or doctorate's in psychology. It could work, I think.
Outside of thinking about colleges, I've been planning my 18th birthday. It's going to be a murder mystery party! And I'm very excited about it! Everyone will be assigned characters to play for the evening as we use clues to uncover the murderer. Invitations, for the most part, have already been distributed. (They still may be extended to a few others.) But now I'm just waiting on RSVPs so I can assign characters.
And ohmygoodness, Lauren's halloween party is next weekend and I have no idea what I'm going to wear. I want to do something different, something surprising... But the creative juices just aren't flowing for this one. I'll take suggestions if you've got any.
