update?
So, we got our summer schedules today at school. (Yes, for anyone who didn't know, us CA kids have to go school for about a month and a half over the summer. Kinda sucky, but whatever... it's only three easy classes.) Anyway, we got them during first hour and I very happy to see that I got the classes I wanted, and jillianne's in all of them: Economics (required, gotta get it out of the way) and Creative Writing (yayayay! gonna be so much fun! I hear there are video projects and coffee shop style poetry readings! Not to mention, the teacher is Mrs. Koszoru, the world's greatest!) We also have to take Honors PE (hahaha).
However, I found a little problem with this nearly perfect schedule: Evil, mean-spirited Mrs. Crapford is teaching my economics class. argh, I hate that woman. I guess having her for a whole semester wasnt bad enough because now she's going to ruin my summer, too... =( I think jill and I are going to talk to Sullivan tomorrow to see if we can get a schedule change because, "though we believe that Mrs. Crawford is a highly educated and qualified individual, we fear that her teaching methods conflict with our learning styles." Maybe he'll move us into lauren's class. ::crosses fingers::
On different notes:
--I'm looking for a job... probably going to apply at either waldenbooks, blockbuster (since they're hiring) or field of flowers (dont laugh, it's close to home!) Unless anyone has seen any other "now hiring" signs lately?
--I'm going to start writing for the CA newsletter. Why not? Might be interesting...
--There's a new TV show called "Chasing Farrah"! About Farrah Fawcett, of course, but I was still pleasantly surprised. After all, I dont hear my name on TV too often...
--Joey made a surprise visit tonight, definitely made my day... (I missed you...)<3
