I learned from my local news, and they played a clip that was heavy Suzanne (no pun intended, haha) and the caption said "Designing Women actress dies" and so I was like "OMG DELTA BURKE WHAT WILL MAJOR DAD DO NOW" and so then when they said it was Dixie Carter I was like "wtfff way to pick the wrong clip"

I found it notable since I've learned about celebrity deaths either from LJ or twitter's trending topics but rarely from TV news now days!

Yeah, I think that's how it is for most people. The last celeb death I learned from TV was Michael Jacksons, but that's because I wasn't near a computer.
