Midnight showings are always interesting
So, just got back from Harry Potter.
first, a spoiler:

lol, the books been out for a bazillion couple of years, so i'm sure everyone knows this. I just love that pic:)
I'm not good with recapping, but I will voice some opinions and whatever. First off, we sat next to a couple of gentlemen who could be considered "nerds" (which is fine. I *like* nerds. I'm a nerd, too!!!), but one of the guys was obviously a tagalong (or, y'know, 'the bitch'), and didn't seem too enthusiastic about being there.
He sounded JUST like Steve from American Dad (to a fucking tee), and he kept talking *during* the previews. He'd read whatever text was on the screen! I was like "ARE YOU MY GRANDMA????? BECAUSE SERIOUSLY...HI, GRANDMA. ALSO STFU OR GTFO". I wish I could've sat next to his quieter, obviously-there-because-he-was-a-fan friend, but no.
And honestly??? If the guy had been amusing *at any point* during his random rants about whatever he was talking about???? I'D HAVE BEEN FINE. But nooooooooooo. He was young, obvs not into the movie, and apparently my Grandma with Steve Smith's voice.
Seriously, I wanted to sit next to his friend so bad. There was a point where he just sat there while his better half was laughing and clapping (with the rest of us, maybe even louder), and I wanted to LIFT GRANDMA/STEVE SMITH OUT OF HIS CHAIR AND SIT NEXT TO HIS BUDDY AND MAYBE GIVE HIM A HUG, because srsly...nothing lessens the movie experience than watching it with someone who doesn't enjoy it.
WHATEVER, I'M OVER IT. *deep breath*
Ok, now onto my film thoughts:
Um...Moar Luna Lovegood.
and...thats it.
j/k. But seriously, Moar Luna, plz. I need a Luna icon, like, now. Whenever she was onscreen, everyone (including myself) "Awwwww"'d. SO ADORABLE. That dress she wore for the ball thing??? HUGZZZZZ. Gah, I...I just love her to bits.
As far as the whole Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione thing?? Yeah, whatever. I'm such a huge Harry/Hermione shipper that I just don't care about HP canon ships, anymore. But MAN, have you seen Ginny/Bonnie??? DAAAAAYUM. Like, wait...how old is she??
*googles*
...gdi. Why is everyone so young??? *mopes* lol, she's the same age as The Prescott's XD
Whatever, I *like* Ginny, just not w/Harry. That's all I have to say about that.
I totally wanted to give Draco a hug. Just a little bit.
LOL, there was a moment when Harry said "Be brave!!", and I immediately thought "AND WANT ME BACK!!!". Oh, Skins. There are too many things that i'll never be able to look at/think about with a straight face because of that damn show (i.e. "oilz").
I'm sure I have other thoughts about it other than what i've already said...but my brain is mush.

eta: Oh man, they preview for Where the Wild Things Are and Sherlock Holmes looked FECKING AWESOME!!!!! can't wait:)
