Finished Christmas shopping this evening. Hooray. We made it out of Target and Beverages & More without stabbing anyone in the eye. It was a feat, considering the number of complete asshats that we encountered. We decided, however, that it's not the frenzied pressure of holiday shopping that turns ordinary people in to evil beasties. Rather, the sheer number of people that flock to malls, department stores, etc. just increases your chances of running in to people that are already mean and bitter.
