I got a tattoo yesterday--an anchor with a banner that says "risk" on the back of my calf near my ankle. Soon it will have a sister on the other leg that says "hope."
Really, it didn't hurt as much as I'd anticipated. I was prepared for excruciating pain, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was more of an annoying constant pain that only kinda hurt (except when he was shading the corners of the anchor and banner--yeooow!).
