(Il y a un peu de français au fin de cette note).
In not so good news, I woke up sick this morning. I've been blaming allergies for all the sneezing and the bit of coughing, but I woke up with a full-fledged sore throat all icky with drainage. So that's awesome. It's gorgeous today, though, so I'll probably still go do something outside later.
I swear I'm mentioning this all over my social media, but my nails look so good. I'm finally getting the hang of doing my own manicures. I'm such a princess, I know. Speaking of beautiful hands, I also bought an amazing ring on Saturday. I've been trying on rose rings all over France for two years, but I finally found one I like that actually fits. It's a ceramic red flower with a silver rose on top. I posted a picture on tumblr.
I had to say good-bye to another group of my favorite students. :( Like I said, my Wednesday class is one of my favorites. They did the same activity as last week, putting together a dialogue/situation about Brita returning to America. Naturally they did a terrific job. :)
The first two girls actually did theirs as an improv, which was really impressive. According to them, I've had boyfriends all over France, like, in every city I've visited. Ha, if only I were that lucky. I was laughing hysterically pretty much the entire time. Like, when asked about her job, Brita said she didn't do anything. She just talked to students in English. And when asked about a certain group, she was like, "Oh, they're my favorite, especially these two girls!" Theirs was really good.
The next two girls had my mom cheating on my dad with a new boyfriend and me finding out about it. That will never happen in a million years, but it was funny to watch.
The next two girls did a tearful good-bye at the airport, and I wanted to be like, "That's how I feel saying good-bye to y'all!"
Then two boys went, which was awesome since one of them had to play me. He borrowed glasses from another student and made his voice high-pitched.
I can't wait to see what next week's class does.
Oh, and I gave them the link to this blog. Ha. En cas de mes elèves lisent mon blog, je veux vous dire "salut!" J'ai passé une bonne année avec vous, et vous me manquerez beaucoup! J'espère que vous restez en contact. Bisous!!!!
