I've been trying to read great literature lately, along with all the other fun books.
While still at home, I read An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde.
In France, I've read Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, The Children by Edith Wharton, and Shirley Jackson's The Lottery and Other Stories and We Have Always Lived in a Castle.
They've all been quite good. It's just harder to make myself read literary works than whatever looks good on the bookshelf.
