Long week, that went by surprisingly quickly.
I easily worked more than 30, possibly as many as 40 hours this week. Homework just takes so damn long to finish. I'm supposed to be done working at 7:30pm each night...not 10:30pm with homework or 8:30pm because Paula gets home late.
I didn't see the hot piano teacher on Wednesday, sadsad, but they also have a hot tennis instructor, so Wednesdays are looking up.
Sunday I randomly met a guy in the Luxembourg Garden. We discussed cultural things. We're going biking tomorrow in Paris. I'm a little nervous, but it should be fun. I wish I could better guess people's ages because I know he's older, but I'm not sure how old is older. I wonder if I can work that into conversation. Oh, and our conversation Sunday plus our e-mails have all been in French. Impressive, n'est-pas?
Tuesday I went to Versailles and saw Mme Chauchat!!!!! And Mallory and three other Furman students. So cool. Might go back this week.
Tonight I'm going out with the other au pairs to an Australian bar in Paris. So excited. Apparently all the people who work there speak English, but it's a popular place for French people to go too. So it's not just an anglophone bar. So pumped.
Spent the entire day doing nothing. Fooled around online, read more of my book, took a long bath, took a long nap. I think I'm coming down with a bit of a cold, so I wanted to rest up for tonight.
France is awesome. Everyone should try living here.
