Starting Anew- a poem, written New Year's 2009

Sometimes I reach a point when I need a new poetry notebook, even if I haven't filled up my old one. I've been writing in my old notebook since my 18th birthday. I bought a new one this summer, but I wanted to wait until 2009 to break it in. This is my first poem of the new year, kinda a dedication to my new journal.
Starting Anew
An empty journal
A new beginning
A blank page
A fresh start
A brand new year
Brings a brand new me
A brand new writer
Creates a brand new poem
I'm starting anew
With fresh inspiration
My new journal will be
A reflection of the new me
