Totally forgot to mention
Friday, I danced in the rain.
It was wonderful.
I was up at the pool, reading, and it started sprinkling lightly. I ignored it, but it sprinkled harder. So I took my book, cell phone, and the lawn chair cushion inside the pool house. Then I went back outside and just danced and played. It's amazing. When you don't care about getting wet from the rain, you really don't get that wet. I think it's all about perception. Anyway, then I got in the pool and danced. The fun thing about dancing in water is that you have incredible balance. I could do a perfect pirouette, but only a single, because the water also slows you down.
But it was wonderful. It was freeing. I felt at one with the world.
That is why I dance. That is why I dance in the rain.
