CIS 110
For a computer science class I'm taking this term, our professor asked us to create a blog as one of our projects, or if we already had one, to post a link to it for her to see. So anyways, I linked my CIS professor here, and figured I should probably throw an update on it as well. (The requirements are 2 paragraphs and 2 images, I'm going to try and make it that far.)
Anyways, things have been going well lately. This term is looking passable (and fairly easy). I'm hoping to not have to spend mass amounts of time at the library wading through the works of Durkheim, Weber and Marx this term, and it looks like that goal just might be met. I'm finally settling down into the pattern of the term again, as well as I'm still getting used to not working. The 'zine club's sort of at a stand still, but I still have hope for it. I want to see it get up and running before this term is over.
The rest of life is going well too. Joe (my boyfriend) just met the family to a unanimous chorus of "I love him!". That's sort of exciting. I will admit that it's nice to be with someone that I actually want to introduce to my family, and feel like I can without them judging them based on gender. I've kept to myself a lot lately, but I'm really okay with that. Sometimes I forget how nice it is to just be able to live my life without others around me most of the time.
Since I've been instructed to post pictures up here, I'll let you all have a peek at the new kitten, Callie.
