Clearly I have anxieties about engagements/marriage that are related to the social aspect instead of the one-on-one relational aspect.
No. I have not figured out a fucking date yet. Yes, you will know as soon as I do. Seeing as how EVERBODY apparently needs to know ASAP. If I KNEW anything and had ANY details, I would probably be broadcasting them EVERYWHERE. So until then, CHILL THE FUCK DOWN.
There's not a lot of hateful pressure. It's the subtleties. That's what makes it so bad. The subtlety of it all, so that you have to know or read into it -- so then you never know if you're on edge or they're laying it in secretly.
This process is more emotionally stressful than I anticipated. On the bright side, my fiance is foraging on his own in the wilderness of Washington and avoiding "capture," which will inevitably occur on Wednesday leading into Resistance Training (aka - POW training so they can torture you and you won't talk). So while this stress/anxiety is a continual low-level pain, I remind myself what he is going through, take a breath, and force myself to relax.
I will hopefully update more later, regarding less wedding-related topics. Just had to get that out.
