I've been into JE fandom due to kattun, stayed for a really long time for Arashi and then found a new love in Hey Say Jump. I've been a fan of Arashi when I was a student, and frankly speaking, I was broke at that time. haha. Still remember I have to sneakily download all arashi concerts, ans, himitsu no arashi chan episodes by using library's internet since I couldn't afford to buy a huge internet quota. haha. And also being over excited every time exams finished because I couldn't wait to marathon all arashi's variety shows, drama, dvd concerts that I havent watched yet.What a memory I have with arashi :). As a fan , I'm also really sad due to this announcement of hiatus, but still, I understand from the members point of view too. They have been in this industry for more than 20 years, since middle school,as a junior and an idol. They dont have enough privacy and freedom to do whatever things they havent done before. It's about time right. I really appreciate that they give enough time for fans to fully prepared when the hiatus come. Arashi, we love you :)
