j-pop
i love j-pop, j-rock music as well as japanese culture. but why is it japanese music is not well known worldwide compared to kpop? in my humble opinion, japanese music is so varied and so colourful that I would like more people around the world to listen to them. I'm not saying kpop is not good, but most of kpop music is very western-influenced and most of them sounds similar to each other. maybe due to accessibility I think. jpop contents are not easily accessible compared to kpop I suppose. :(
