Over

Hi everyone,

I wanted to updated earlier, but as you can see, it never happened.

Last Saturday was awesome. I went to the Taking Back Sunday show at RIT, and it was rockin'. Emmanuel opened...they were kind of crappy, but the coolest thing was the RIT has a center for deaf people on its campus, so they had a signer at the concert. When the singer of Emmanuel screamed, "FUCK YOU!!!" the deaf guy basically put up the middle finger and pointed to the crowd. It was so great. He was this old, bald guy who looked like a typical high school teacher or something, and he gave everyone the finger. And he was so enthusiastic about it, haha.

Story of the Year came on after that, and they were ok. The only shitty thing that happened was they're kind of a "hard" band, so there were mosh pits, and of course I was next to one, but Matt protected me. We lost Flannery, but we met up when SOTY was over. It was pretty cool though; before one song, the singer told everyone to clear the middle of the crowd so that they could have a bigass mosh pit, and it happened. That was kind of cool. It was also kind of cool that I wasn't near it.

Then TBS came on, and it was fucking amazing. They played 4 songs off of their new album (What's it Feel like to be a Ghost, Liar Liar, Makedamnsure of course, and Error: Operator), but they also played about 4 songs each from their previous albums. They even played Cute without the E and You're So Last Summer. And Adam did all the crazy microphone swinging shit, even though he didn't hit all the high notes.

I got a t-shirt, but the only size they had for the one I wanted was a Youth Large, so it doesn't fit me that great, but I'll just cut it or something. We went to McDonalds for like, 5 minutes, and then we came back to campus.

The next week consisted of studying my ass off for finals, taking 2 finals back to back (6 hours of hell) and doing shitty on them anyway, and then acing my English final on Friday. I went home for Mother's Day weekend, and now I'm here.

All I'm doing this week is working, hanging out with Matt, and potentially rehearsing with After Hours, but we haven't had a rehearsal yet.

It's weird that everyone is gone. I need to get a job for the summer, but I'm actually not that concerned since I think I have something set up for me.

Love,
Sharon
