The truth is, a color bar on lj isn't going to overthrow the gov't, they're merely there to express opinions. Opposing opinions on gay marriage and abortion are ALWAYS going to exist. I'm not going to convince a pro-choice person to be pro-life, and a pro-choice person isn't going to convince me to be pro-choice. Unbelievers aren't going to be convinced by believers [in God in terms of Christianity] especially if we're not acting in love. All a Christian can do is show love and share the Word, and trust that God does the rest. Am I right? To all you pro-choicers out there, will you ever be convinced otherwise? No. Will all you gay marriage supporters ever decide that its just wrong? No. Likewise, will you pro-lifers and non supporters of gay marriage ever decide that you're wrong? Again, no. Sharing our opinions is fine. Forcing them is not.
YES! Exactly. I know I'll never convince any of these people that gay marriage or abortion is wrong, but I'm still telling them about God. And who knows? Maybe something will click within them, and they'll see it's the truth. Whether they want to believe it or not, it's their choice.
