There must be something quite sadistic in the desire to write stuff that disturbs other people ... the desire to make them feel your pain ... the desire to make them writhe in disgust ... or to make them uncomfortable or unnerved without them really quite knowing why.
So ... I am a sadist.
I want you to be unnerved and disturbed.
I want you to feel pain.
I want you to see the anger and hurt and feel it for yourself.
Question: Do you find that art needs to be in some way disturbing for it to truly move you?
