Stupid Pur is stupid.
So I've finished classes and got one more due date before I'm free for good. The tutor for the class that this last assignment is for was really lenient about assignments--she said, literally, 'I don't care when I get 'em as long as I get 'em.' And that's the mentality I've been taking, which means that even though I've got one 'due date' left, I've got another assignment--a lit review--for the same class I haven't done yet.
The thing is, the study guide and the online assignment submission program both need due dates for beauraucratic reasons. And for the lit review, because we had to present on it in class, it pretty much had two due dates--one actual day, and 'seven days after presentation'. Mine was one of the last presentations, so both would have generally coincided, but I had a 4000 word assignment due for another class at around the same time and seriously, honestly forgot about the written lit review.
And now I've only just been getting into it (because I'm an idiot and my brain decided it was already holidays and switched off) and now just seeing the due dates (and the fact that online submissions for that assignment have closed) has made me start panicking, that maybe I really did need to get it done before that date, and even though I'd honestly forgotten about it at that point (because she said 'any time!') and only now remembered, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay overdue and considering the usual Uni policy for this, if it was supposed to be in by then, I would get a zero. I cannot afford a zero if I want a second-class (let alone first class) Honours grade.
The tutor was really good about wanting to help us; I mean hell she's even letting me resubmit an assignment I got a low grade on so I can try'n bring it up. I think if she was worried about not having gotten something from me she would've e-mailed. But now that I've panicked I can't get into the headspace to actually write the fucking thing. Think I'll go to bed instead.
