I'm amused by some weird things ... but who wouldn't be amused by this?

My day is complete.

I was browsing Pokemon characters on Bulbapedia for research for a story and I was looking at Lieutenant Surge when I discovered a curious and exceptionally amusing thing, which indirectly led me to realise another curious and exceptionally amusing thing, and then a third thing which isn't curious so much as exceptionally amusing

Maddie wasn't a woman when she voiced Surge (least not physically)...but then it's not that hard of a voice to do. It's a hard voice to MAINTAIN because it burns like hell (especially with all the shouting), but to get down that low and all weird like that is pretty easy.

Unless I have the vocal cords of a 40 year old man. Which then makes me wonder about my Nurse Joy voice.

It's not so much that I thought the voice would be difficult (though iirc she pulled it off really well) but that I found it exceptionally amusing that a guy as masculine as Surge was voiced by a woman.

I'd accuse you of ruining my fun, but then, I can always argue that if she identified as female at that time he was still voiced by a woman even if her physical gender didn't reflect it. XP

(... although that's still not quite as fun, darnit.)

I haven't watched the dub in a while 'cos I hates it, but wow ... I would've never thought. (Might be Jap vs Eng variance or something ... I think I've seem Moto around, so)

I saw it, and loled mightily because it could almost have been me who posted it, it reflected some recent thoughts of mine so closely. XD It made my day just to see a Lance secret up tho I is sad 'cos the OP never replied to my comment.

Hahahaha. It seems that whenever I make one about any character that I even remotely have mentioned, people troll me. It got to the point where there was one about Domino, and people started insulting me in the comments until someone pointed out "that can't be her, this person says Domino got them through high school and BJR was out of high school by then". It's very strange and I keep having to go to the mod about it.

And I've never made a secret about a character that I was the only fan of. At least not until...ahahahaha, but you'll have to wait because that hasn't gone up yet.

Why would they bother to insult you just 'cos of the character the secret's about? O.o Eh, I don't get people. S'one reason why I stay away from FS, though I like looking at the secrets just 'cos they're interesting. 'Course my one time posting a secret didn't go too well either, but I was expecting the wank just 'cos it was a wanky subject. XP Just hoping for some intelligence/understanding, though I didn't really get either. Though considering it's a site for ranting, you'd think people would be more understanding of people posting rants, even if it's something they've seen before ... but then I'm prolly missing the finer point of the community: wankage.

Because apparently I'm the only person who ever ever likes these characters or something, and they see some sort of shame in that. I have no idea.

He's awesome but the hell of is is that he's not sexy at all. That's him in my icon. He's really creepy.

Knowing me I'd feel stupidly proud at liking a character no one else does, and flaunt the fact. XP It seems to happen it anyway, what with me liking minor characters, though iono if it's ever been as far as being the only one.

He looked kind of sexy in one or two of those icon-scans in the journal. Though I have to admit he also has a habit of looking rather psychotic, like in that image there ... now he just needs the Lector-mask. X3

Oh usually I do, but they seem to have some sort of weirdass thing about me and by that the characters I like. Someone said once (anon, of course!) that they wanted to RP Domino but she was too associated with me. Uh what. Apparently they don't want to play her that much.

Hahahaha, pretty much except I don't think animeverse Giovanni has ever been shown in a situation where he's had to pretend to be anything else. Bear in mind that being a super villian doesn't seem to put you in any trouble with the League, given Sabrina and all. Also guess how old Cyrus is, given what you've seen. Provided you don't already know.

Hm, I've never considered Sabrina in the context a super-villain before ... a psychotic child, sure. XD Though if the shoe fits, and considering what she did ...

I honestly has no idea, though I seem to recall someone telling me he was in his mid-twenties or so. He looks older at first glance.
