WOOT I AM DONE.
First things first: explaining my reasoning. Because no one wants to read a massive essay on the inner workings of writing, I've tried to be as simple and as short as possible--I made 50,000 characters my landmark 'cos that's one post on-forum. So, coverage as opposed to depth, with the result that there are things in there (such as

Type of Story and Genre you don’t need to go to a lot of detail. I think the writers should have a basic idea what poetry, prose, and script are. Same goes with genre. And also, I don’t think I ever heard of a short story having a maximum of 3000 words. Some short stories can have a longer word count than that, though not by a whole lot.
The introduction to Plot and story I actually like a lot. Sure, everyone knows what plot is, but they probably don’t get that sometimes plot can go haywire at times if they don’t connect the scenes together and also that plots don’t have to be totally original (*coughNothing,Everythingcough*). As for the other things like conflict and setting, I too think you don’t have to go too much detail over those. Perhaps just mention the bones of the story are conflict, climax, and resolution, and the meat are setting, tense, and POV. Actually, I think POV doesn’t need much mention either since I think everyone knows what a first, second, and third person POV are. Tense I think you should keep though. And yeah, also mention consistency when using tenses. I still need help with keeping tenses consistent. XD As for “Keeping it together” I think that could stay too since plotholes can be somewhat confusing.
The Characters section me likey. :) The protagonist, antagonist, secondary, and background characters I think is a bit too simple and I believe everyone knows what makes a protagonist and such. Then again, maybe some people are not sure to label their characters either the protagonist or antagonist. You can still keep that, I guess. The Mary Sues and the other sections after that I think you should keep, though. Appearance and Names, however, you don’t need to go a lot of detail. Perhaps merging those two together?
Pacing is good too. Bah, I’m still having trouble with that. XD;
I like the Language sections too and I think it should stay. Haha, while reading the entries for the Heart and Soul contest, there’s one entry that used a foreign language on some parts (Japanese! And written in Japanese too! :O) and one entry that used some words I never actually heard before. Then again, my vocabulary sucks. XD;
On Grammar, yeah some countries have their own grammar rules. Trust me, I did Italian and their tense rules are slightly different from the English tense rules. :P Like your mention of paragraphs, for one. *shakes fist at Ian McEwan’s Atonement* The other parts are fine, too. Haha, before I move on, gotta comment on this sentence: ‘The numerous fuzzy guinea pigs of multi-shaded diversity of typical rodent coloration ate their lettuce happily.’ CUTENESS OVERLOAD. *_*
Editing is good too. No problems there. :)
Fandom specific tips is fine. Like the “Understanding the terminology”. Straightforward, yep yep. “The World of Pokemon” is good too, although you could have mention the card games in a separate section because to me the card games and video games are different mediums. You don’t have to, though. “From Game Boy to Fiction” and “Pokemon” are good too, but I want to talk about “general intelligence” real quick. I actually have two fics, Take Fifty Five and Simplicity, that is of Pokemon living and acting like humans , but no humans(think Red Wall. ). In fact, the two main characters are a Pidgeotto and a Swellow that are movie producers. What if there are some authors that have a story similar to that, where they live their own world and is not of a Mystery Dungeon setting? I think Sike’s Origin of Storms is like that and I know a couple other fics in other forums like that also.
The last two sections I’ll just say those are win. :)
Overall, nice guide here. Some of my criticisms are more or less so the same as Negrek’s and bobandbill’s posts. Well, can’t wait to see when this gets posted. :)
