Hey, that really isn't that far away in time or space. Who would be interested in hanging out on a playground in Somerville some Sunday afternoon this September?
In more practical news, I just took (and passed) the first ham radio exam. If any of you have any interest in doing the same, the first test is really easy, and I can lend you the ARRL Ham Radio License Manual (which really does have all the study material you'll need). BTW, the morse code requirements are now totally gone for all levels.
