Now that the offer letter is definite and I've decided and told my current job, I guess it can be public knowledge.
I'm changing jobs.
It wasn't an easy or obvious decision as I actually generally like my current job, but it was becoming burdensome to keep working with the pay cut they've had everyone under for over a year. When the option came up for a job back at my full pay (with a chance for bonuses) working with an entire team of people I already know I like, it seemed like such a low risk opportunity that I couldn't just ignore it.
I may make a more detailed post later, but probably not. It's been a tense week for both
quish and I as we waited for the offer letter to be *real* and went back and forth on how we should handle this whole situation.
