San Diego Fires
Perhaps its because I grew up in a town where the only natural disasters were earthquakes I could hardly feel, but I am severely freaked out by these fires.
Standing at a friends house, who lives only a couple of blocks from me and being able to see flames is an extremely disconcerting feeling.
I'm farther away from the flames now. I'm at a friend o a friends house (not awkward at all right?) and I know that we'll be fine. We are "safe" but we can see fire all around.
Keep those who have no where to go in your hearts.
