I was talking to my mother a while back and she said to me "You never tell me what kind of guy you want to date." This confused me because I almost always tell her about whatever boy it is I like. I launched into some explanation of the boy I was interested in and she said "No, I mean what you want in a boy. You'll never find a boy that makes you happy unless you know what it is that you want, what you're looking for."

That is all paraphrased, not directly quoted. The point is, I've been thinking about it today, so I'm going to write down some stuff to try to figure it out.

I want someone who I can talk to for hours, all night and into the morning
Someone who makes me smile and laugh
Someone who I can make smile and laugh
Someone intelligent
Someone who likes to stay in and snuggle up to watch movies
Someone who likes to go out- out to dinner, to movies, to plays, on adventures, just out
Someone who appreciates good food
Someone who surprises me in good ways. I mean surprise in lots of different senses.
Someone who does not smoke
Someone who doesn't drink a lot, maybe just a little.. like socially at a party. Not some who's criteria for an evening is to get smashed.
Someone with hair that is nice to play with, not gelled up so I can't touch it without messing it up, a good length and a nice texture.
Someone skinny but with some muscle... We all know I like scrawny boys, but no one wants to date a skeleton.
Someone at least my height but preferably taller
Someone with smooth soft skin
Someone who dresses well.. I don't mean they have to be a fashion model, I just want them to wear clothes I think they look good in
Someone who smells good.
Someone I'm attracted to....
Someone who makes me feel good about myself- who i can make feel good about themself
Someone who won't get sick of me, but that also doesn't need to be around me all the time.
Someone who still believes in taking a girl out on dates- not just trying to fool around with her and if it goes on long enough then it turns into a relationship
Someone who is not perfect
Someone who does not expect me to be perfect
Someone who gets me.
